User Management

Currently, there are two kinds of users in OLF. Ordinary users (or just users) who can create and alter content, as well as administrators. Administrators have unlimited access and can change master data. Furthermore, only administrators can add or remove new users to the system. This can be done by clicking on Settings > Users in the Menu.

Note that you have to assign the roles user and if applicable administrator to each user. You also have to enable a user to grant him access to the application. This feature is especially useful when a user leaves the laboratory. Deleting the user would invalidate his entries (and is thus not possible). Instead you can disable user access by unchecking this box.
