Etesync crashes on syncing calendar (Android 12)

On launching Etesync on my phone (Xiaomi Poco NFC, Android 12), it crashes and states to report a error. However, it opens nevertheless.

When syncing manually afterwards, it does snyc the contacts (so creating/deleting on one phone and seeing on the other). However, calendar entries are no longer synchronized.

I re-installed it, but it didn't help.
I do not know how to extract more information about this under Android unfortunately.

Does anyone else have that problem?
Can I gather more information to help solve the issue? If so, how?

Same for me. My other phone has 2.4.4 and works fine. Got a new phone, installed 2.6 and crashes on sync. Both latest grapheneos.

2.5 also crashes but downgrading to 2.4.4 (available in f-droid) resolves the issue.
