I have tried to use POeditor but I got error message said that I can't join the translation of the project, not sure how to use pull and send the modified file back, so I created the translation file manually but I finished translation and upload the file to module's lang folder, the translation seesm didn't work, I am not sure because I don't have the zh-Hans.mo or other reason caused, I leave it to Jefferson49 to figure it out, if any reason has been found, please let me know so I can use the translation before the next release.

I have checked the translation file twice so it should be alright unless there are something I missed. I can't upload .po file so I added the .txt at end of file name, please remove the .txt before you verify it.

Thank you very much for contributing the Chinese translation!

The .po file was all o.k. and works fine. To get the translation running in webtrees, we need to translate the .po file into a .mo file. I am using the free tool Poedit. Poedit can also be used for working on the .po file.

I have already created the .mo file and uploaded it to the code. You can find the files here:

The translation will be added to the next release. If you already want to use it, you can download the zh-Hans.mo file from the link above.

I also uploaded the translation to Poeditor:

From the settings I see, you should be able to join the Poeditor translation without further approval. However, if it does not work, you can send me your email address and I can directly add you as a contributor. My email is: jefferson49 (at) gmx.net

I have downloaded the mo file and all works great, I will try to use Poedit later and also add traditional Chinese language file as well.

One quick question, when I open the module management page, the big table's last column title is still English "Action", is this because the word "Action" is from the main app or we missed the word in the translation file?

I got to the translation project but still failed to join, I don't know what's the problem and I guess it's still kind of permission or related to some payment? I will prepare the traditional chinese file first and post to here, you can workout the issue of PoEditor site issue so I can work on other modules that you made.

Here is the traditional Chinese translation file, but it's only changed encoding which is not 100% same with traditional Chinese user's way, I hope that someone can refine it later.

Yes, there is a wrong handling in the code. I did not see it in my user interface, because "Action" is seemingly available from another custom module. Therefore, it looks fine for me.

I added "Action" to the translation.

I checked again. It seems there is a new policy at PoEditor, which only allows a maximum of 5 contributors to all translations. At the moment, there are exact 5 contributors.

If this holds as the root cause, I will probably need to switch away from PoEditor to another solution.
