Automatic documentation based on git commits

The feature request

Currently, you must manually track your time by adding a description to each log. It would be very nice to have these messages populated automatically by Git commits.

Proposed solution

This would make it much easier to have these messages be more accurate since they would be directly tied to the work that you did.
